What is the buzz about her work?
is not her real name—it is her pen name! She is one of the most-read authors Danmei authors in China
Well! Boy Love (BL) is termed as Danmei Manga and it is sort of a cultural movement. Probably that’s the predominant reason for her high fanfare and fan following.
She enriches her bromance stories in the Xianxia genre – which is a high fantasy background. Several of her characters are magical entities and are endowed with supernatural abilities. The stories are set in ancient China.
As per publication archives, three manga novels were penned by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu while the fourth one named “Sishen Meiyou Xiuxiri,” translated as “Death Gods Don’t Get Vacation Days was in offing.
“Mo Dao Zu Shi”- her most famous novel has been rebranded in different media adaptations. It includes a 50 episode drama series named” The Untamed (2019) aired on Netflix. It boasts an amazing rating of 9.4 on IMDb.
